Introducing: Daily Puzzles! 

I recommend checking in every day to get a new daily dose of Chess Murder Mysteries 😀 There isn’t any streak counter yet but you can check which days you’ve successfully completed for each day.

One feature that I’m currently looking into is a notification system. It would be awesome to get a push notification on your mobile phone whenever a new puzzle hits the app. itch.io doesn’t natively support anything like that and the simplest option might be to just build an iOS/Android app for that. However – there are always a workaround though so there might be a way to make this work nonetheless…

There are lots of interesting technical details surrounding this update. There is an involved procedure which makes a new fresh puzzle appear for you every single day 😀 So if the devs among you are interested, comment down below and I’ll publish a little post series on itch or here on My Nerdy Hobby.

Also I’ve worked on a bit of a more clear tutorial structure including some better hints at unintuitive parts. Check out the new tutorial if you are a returning player that is unsure about how this whole thing worked.
